Lindy Michie

Lindy was born in England and moved to Canada in 1974. She resides in Victoria, BC with her husband and small dog, and spends the summers at their home on Hornby Island. Generally, Lindy is surrounded by family, with two children, five grandchildren, and countless grand-dogs. She started painting at the age of 40, and is primarily self-taught.

That noted, Lindy has been surrounded by artists all her life. Her grandmother was Anne Redpath, a well known Scottish artist, and her father, Alastair Michie, was a successful painter and sculptor.

Lindy’s work is owned by collectors in Canada and around the world, and has been featured in various galleries.
